Time-block Tasks

The ability to “time box” tasks onto the calendar view is a start, but it’s not enough.

More often than not, I’d argue, a task requires multiple sessions to complete, e.g. to write a blog post or purchase a new product. You cannot realistically complete these tasks in a single session, yet according to the calendar view you must. Even so, having only a single time block for a task puts a huge amount of pressure onto you to complete the task within the respective block.

Thus, I’d like to be able to schedule a task onto the calendar view multiple times, with each time block linking to the task at hand. This way, one can tackle the task at a comfortable pace, especially for those that cannot be realistically accomplished in one sitting.

This is the most important feature (most) modern calendars are missing!
