Filtering tasks by life area in upcoming view (tasks sidebar) has broken logic

In the upcoming view, task sidebar on the right. I filtered the tasks by life area and selected “Life area X” and “No life area”. This should be treated as an OR condition and show all tasks that either have no life area assigned (ie. Inbox) or are assigned to life area X. Instead it shows no tasks matched the criteria because it treats it as “Life area X” AND “No life area” which is not possible. This doesn’t occur when I pick two life areas, but always occurs when I select “No life area” as one of them.
