I would like to suggest an improvement to how Goals and Subgoals handle measurable progress.
Currently, I can create a Goal with a measurable target and add Subgoals as milestones. However, when I update the progress of a Subgoal, the progress of the parent Goal does not automatically update.
For example i want to track user count for a SaaS.
The main Goal should count the Subgoal progress using a count metric and automatically update its progress using the progress of the Subgoals.
The mail Goal is to accquire users so it has no set target, it only adds the amount of the subgoals who have a target amount and date.
This could be a toggle on function and not a standard.
It would allow users to have one source of truth for a metric while still using Subgoals as milestones and deadlines.
